Tiger

Weight: Up to 450 kgs.

Tigers are the largest members of the CAT family. Once, they ranged widely over Asia, but now there are probably only about 3000 tigers living in the wild. They are spectacular to look at, and graceful in their movements. They keep to the dark forests, sleeping by day, and hunting deer and pigs by night. With their striped coats, they are almost impossible to see against a jungle background when they are standing still. Unlike most cats, tigers love bathing.
